The benefits of homeopathy
A natural choice. The active ingredients in homeopathic medicines are made from diluted extracts of plants, animals, minerals, or other raw substances found in nature.
For everyday use. Similar to other over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, homeopathic medicines can be used to relieve symptoms of a wide range of common health conditions such as allergies, coughs, colds, flu, stress, pain, heartburn, etc.
Safe and reliable. Homeopathy has been used for more than 200 years, building a remarkable safety record and generating a great body of knowledge. Homeopathic medicines do not mask symptoms, are not contraindicated with pre-existing conditions, and are not known to interact with other medications or supplements, making them one of the safest choices for self-treatment.
Rigorous standards. Homeopathic medicines are manufactured according to the highest standards, complying with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations and the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS).
Like cures like and less is more
Homeopathy is a therapeutic method that uses natural substances to relieve symptoms. It derives from the Greek words homeo, meaning "similar," and pathos, meaning "suffering" (such as the pathology of a disease). Homeopathy operates on a "like cures like" principle that has been used empirically for more than 200 years and continues to be confirmed in pharmacological research and clinical studies.
What this means is a person suffering from symptoms can be treated by microdoses of a substance capable of producing similar symptoms in a healthy person. It is said that homeopathic medicines stimulate the body's physiological reactions that restore health. This is accomplished with a very low risk of side effects due to the use of microdoses.
An example of how homeopathic medicines work is the similarity of symptoms between allergies and chopping onions. When you cut into an onion, your eyes will water and your nose runs. If similar symptoms appear after contact with pollen or a pet, the homeopathic medicine most appropriate to treat these symptoms is made from a tiny amount of onion. Instead of masking symptoms, the medicine sends the body a signal to help it rebalance and heal.
Take our allergy relief spray, AllergEase, for example. One of the 15 active ingredient in AllergEase is Allium cepa, which is the red onion.
As another example of like cures like is if you had poison ivy, we would give you Rhus tox which is poison ivy. The key is, extreme dilution allows you to access the benefits of specific ingredient without getting the symptom.
What does dilution do?
This is one of the few instances where diluting something makes it more effective and not less.
When sufficiently diluted, as all our formulas are, homeopathic solutions are not known to interfere with any conventional medicines, are free of side-effects, and are safe for children 12 years and older.
Our remedies are also safe when used together! Many of our customers keep several formulas in their purse or at their desk to keep them feeling their best.
How often should I use your homeopathic solutions?
Some of our solutions are "use only when you need it" and some are "make it a regular part of your life."
For example, if you need a concentration boost following the post-lunch slump, just spritz our Brain Power solution under your tongue for an extra boost and get back to your work or studies. But if you struggle with concentration or memory on a regular basis we would suggest using Brain Power 2 sprays 3 times per day.
If you need help going to sleep, take a nightly dose of our Sleep Ease™ formula when going to bed. If sleep is interrupted or you are having a difficult night, spray again and ease into a better night’s sleep.
Our solutions are safe when used over long periods and do not "build up" or cause toxicity. That means you can use all of our remedies with confidence! The only thing we ask is that you wait 15 minutes before eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth. Using our solutions and then biting into a sandwich won't keep your formula from working, but it will lessen their effectiveness.
